Bud is the Waiheke-based studio of Iain Stephens, a florist with decades of experience running successful flower shops in Auckland, lecturing, competing and judging internationally, and creating flowers for clients around the world.

After settling on Waiheke Island, this next chapter allows for a slower, more personal approach – working closely with couples, families and event planners to create flowers that feel thoughtful, individual and true to the occasion from beginning to end.

Bud works across weddings, events, funerals and workshops, using blooms from local Waiheke growers alongside the best flowers available from across the wider region. With strong connections both on the island and throughout the floral industry, we can source and create everything from simple bouquets to large-scale event florals.
